Deadlines run from receipt. A disputed record is suspended automatically if the check is not finished in time; suspension is not the same as a finished check.
What you can ask for
Four things: correct a factual error; publish your comment next to the numbers; remove your name (the measured history stays under a tracker number); remove a specific quote. Links to your channel are never restricted, and the order of any table does not depend on any commercial relationship.
Deadlines and who is responsible
Deadlines are counted from the moment your message reaches us: acknowledgement immediately and a substantive answer within 24 hours, the check within 48 hours, name removal within 72 hours of confirming the identity. If nothing has moved for 24 hours the request goes to the backup owner. If the check is not finished within 48 hours, the disputed record is withheld from publication until it is — that is a precaution, not a finding that we were wrong, and it does not reset any deadline.
How we are actually doing
The counters above are generated from our own log, including the requests we answered late. Please note (this is a gap we have not closed yet): durable storage for incoming requests is not connected yet, so a submission can still be lost between the form and our server. Keep a copy of what you send until we confirm it by e-mail.
Write to us
